Totaling 9,335 acres, Bergen County boasts 21 parks, nine historic sites, six golf courses, two horseback riding areas, anenvironmental center, and a nationally accredited zoo. No matter what outdoor activities you prefer, the Bergen County Parks System has something for you to enjoy!

Hours & Rates

Most parks open at 7:30 a.m., and close a half hour after sunset. Exceptions are made for lighted sporting areas, ice skatingareas, overnight camping (permit required), the Environmental Center, and the Bergen County Zoological Park.
