BERGEN COUNTY AGRICULTURE DEVELOPMENT BOARD REGULAR MEETING

The Bergen County Agriculture Development Board will hold a regular meeting on Thursday, October, 28st, 2021 at 7:00 PM, in The Conference Center of Two Bergen County Plaza, Hackensack, New Jersey, 07601.  The agenda includes the hearing of public comments and discussion of an application by Patriot Farm, LLC, of the Borough of Saddle River, for Right to Farm Protection pursuant to the Right to Farm Act, N.J.S.A. 4:1C-1 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 2:76-2.1 (the “Act”) for the Farm located on the Property

In connection with the aforesaid, the Bergen County Agriculture Development Board may take official action.

About the Division

The Division of Land Management is a part of the Bergen County Department of Parks. Its mission is to protect and provide additional open spaces and to maintain and enhance the quality and degree of open space throughout the County. Open space is, essentially, land that is not developed with buildings. In other words, an area whose character is dictated by the land itself rather than what is built on the land. Land Management can take many forms, including parks, forests, greenways, wetlands, and farms.  Open space provides various functions such as a habitat for various plant and animal life, an environmental filter for bodies of drinking water, and a place for enjoyment of outdoor recreation activities.Our Division includes the following sections:
