Bergen County Open Space and Recreation Plan Update-Draft November 2023

The Open Space and Recreation Plan (OSRP) guides the County’s open space protection and preservation and helps the County to appropriately guide development away from areas that should be preserved. The OSRP was prepared in conformance with the State’s Green Acres Program, allowing the County to apply for enhanced open space funding and qualifying the County for larger acquisition and park development grants.  The public is encourage to provide input on the draft OSRP.  Comments may be sent to:
