The Bergen County Department of Health Services offers continuing education for the following groups of health professionals:

  • Public health CE’s - NJ health officers and REHS’s for licensure
  • Nursing contact hours - NJ RN’s and LPN’s
  • Certified Health Education Credits (CHEC) - Certified Health Education Specialists
  • Professional development hours - Nurse-teachers and educators

Each program is designed to include:

  • Quality programs with an up-to-date public health focus
  • Learner participation
  • Dynamic, professionally qualified facilitators
  • Networking opportunities with other NJ health professionals
Bergen County Department of Health Services has been approved by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services as a provider of New Jersey Public Health continuing Education Contact Hours (CE’s)
Bergen County Department of Health Services is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the New Jersey State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Committee on Accreditation Provider Unit #P227-9/30/14
