BERGEN COUNTY TO CELEBRATE COMPLETION OF ECOLOGICAL RESTORATION OF RIDGEWOOD WILD DUCK POND
What: Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco and the Board of County Commissioners invite members of the media to Saddle River County Park on Wednesday, October 12th for a ceremony to mark the completion of the ecological restoration project at the Wild Duck Pond in Saddle River County Park. The project scope included replacing the pond liner and implementing stormwater best management practices, which will restore the pond’s wetlands and further support native wildlife. Funding for the restoration project came from the Bergen County Open Space Trust Fund and a grant from NJ Green Acres.
