BEHIND THE SCENES LOOK AT NEW HOLIDAY LANTERN SPECTACULAR

Media invited to tour “Let it GLOW: Holiday Spectacular” Bergen County Zoo

 

What:  Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco, the Board of County Commissioners, and the Friends of the Bergen County Zoo invite members of the media to the Bergen County Zoo on Monday, November 29, for a behind the scenes look at the Zoo’s first annual Let it GLOW: Holiday Spectacular event. The spectacular, sponsored by the Friends of the Bergen County Zoo in partnership with Tianyu Arts & Culture, Inc., will feature traditional Chinese lanterns with a modern twist, including dozens of hand-painted, larger-than-life structures that celebrate culture, animals, and the warmth of the holidays. With over 30 different scenes, each hand-made, artistic wonder is more breathtaking than the last.

Where:  Bergen County Zoo, Van Saun County Park – 216 Forest Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652

Additional Information: Let It GLOW! A Holiday Lantern Spectacular is now open every Thursday through Sunday, November 26 to January 30 (closed Christmas) from 4pm-9pm. Ticket prices are the following:

• Adult: $15
• Child (3-17): $7.50
• Children 2 and under: FREE
