Hurricane Response Information

The BCDHS urges residents to prepare for a possible major weather event as Hurricane Joaquin is expected to impact our area. When and where Joaquin will make landfall is still undetermined at this time but we anticipate significant rainfall. Please take some time to review, or create your family’s emergency response plan. If you or a loved one has health issues please ensure you have a 3-5 day supply of all necessary medical supplies and prescription medicine, for any condition requiring equipment that needs continuous electric service please register with utility providers.
