This Study was conducted as a collaborative effort between the Hudson County Division of Planning and the Bergen County Department of Planning & Economic Development, under the auspices of the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA). The Final Report serves to wrap up what is now a “Phase 1” effort. The Department has subsequently secured funding through the NJTPA’s competitive grant program to conduct a “Phase 2” effort, slated to begin in early fall 2011, to further hone into issues and design strategies dealing with access, mobility, and safety along River Road in Edgewater
