Hank Gans Wins Photography Award

It was announced in the August issue of Photo District News (PDN) that Bergen County photographer Hank Gans is one of the winners of the 2013 PDN Great Outdoors Photo Competition. PDN, based in Manhattan, is the premiere magazine for professional photographers worldwide.

38 winners were chosen by photo industry judges out of thousands of entrants. Gans, the winner of many art director awards as a professional photographer, was also the winner of the Bergen County Henry Hudson 400 photo competition in 2009. His work is included in the permanent collection of international photography museums and many private collections.

Hank Gans teaches intermediate and advanced digital photography and fine art digital printing at The Art School at Old Church in Demarest, New Jersey. The school’s fall semester begins Sept. 9th.
