  5. Arts for Life NJ: "The Actor's Craft" Goes Intergenerational

    March 27, 2018, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

The evening class of “The Actor’s Craft” will continue to be taught by Michael Bias, founding artistic director of The Garage Theatre Group. Now if you work or attend school during the day, you can still sign up. Our current students are eager to try a different dynamic by opening the class to all ages. The class combines fun and learning for beginners and advanced actors who want to polish their skills. Michael teaches the real deal - how actors prepare to go onstage, immerse themselves in a role and use non-verbal memories to communicate with their audience. Using theater games, monologues and sometimes hilarious improvs, we gain new insights that enable us to appreciate acting in a different way - from the inside. Do join us!
