    Writer/actor Morgan McCoy portrays 12 different characters in 12 monologues taking the audience on a journey with Phillis Wheatley, Harriet Tubman, Maggie Walker, Rosa Parks, Shirley Chisholm, Josephine Baker, and Michelle Obama. “Evolution of a Black Girl...” strategically describes current epidemics that challenge today’s society hoping that the voices of the past can offer solutions to save the future. In addition to touring, Morgan McCoy is a regular speaker at conferences and works on her acting career. Recently she co-starred in the TV show The Heart and a docu-drama Black Wall Street.
