  1. Art Exhibit: 2017 Bergen County Art in the Park Winners' Exhibition

    Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco and the Freeholders invite the public to view a free art exhibit showcasing the winners of the 53rd Annual Bergen County Art in the Park Show on view from November 2nd to November 30th. The exhibit will be held in the lobby of One Bergen County Plaza in Hackensack. Winners included: Matthew Albanese of Cliffside Park, John Dunic of Paramus, Peggy Chibaro of Rochelle Park, Mark Oberndorf of Wyckoff, Poramit Thantapalit of Hackensack, Maryann Sena of Ridgefield Park, Brielle Erazo of Fort Lee, Moses Groves of Teaneck, Julia Fish of Glen Rock, Bill De Noyelles of Old Tappan, Emily Gilman Beezley of Glen Rock, Patrice Horvath of Elmwood Park, Lisa Schaper of Dumont, Andrew Hu of New Milford, Wayne Ross of River Edge, Ronald Stern of Paramus, Tenn Lu of Haworth, In K. Son Englewood Cliffs, Germaine Roberts of Elmwood Park, Sharon Savitz of Saddle Brook. Best in Show was won by Bryan Collins of Tenafly.

  2. Mahwah Library Writers’ Collective Weekly Meeting at the Mahwah Public Library

    November 7, 2017, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

    The Mahwah Library Writers’ Collective meets weekly at the Mahwah Public Library. The group meets every Tuesday evening from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. The group’s goal is to support adult writers at all levels who are committed to their work. The collective will allow writers to share their stories and receive constructive feedback. Writers working in fiction and creative non-fiction are welcome. You do not need to be published to join. To encourage the writing process, we recommend that members attend regularly and come prepared with copies of their work to share. You do not need the be a Mahwah resident to join and there is no fee. Please email Nick Johns at nmjohns@verizon.net to register and for program information.
