Visitors can explore the cockpits of a TWA Convair 880 jetliner, a rare Lockheed-designed Bush Plane, a Bell 47 helicopter ,our “Little-Cut-Up” aircraft control demonstrator, and the control cab of a real Airport Rescue and Fire-Fighting truck. People, young and old can learn how the flight systems work. Qualified pilots will help guests understand the instruments and controls of these special aircraft. There will be an aviation book sale and the first 25 children on both days will receive a small free gift! Founded in 1972, the Aviation Hall of Fame & Museum of NJ is dedicated to the preservation of the Garden State's distinguished, two-century aviation and space heritage. The men and women, whose outstanding aeronautical achievements have brought worldwide recognition to the state, are enshrined in the Hall of Fame.
