Located
in the beautiful rolling hills of Franklin Lakes, Saddle Ridge Riding
Center will cater to your and your horse’s every need.
Our trainers are capable of taking our two-footed or four-footed friends from a beginner’s lesson all the way to an “A” rated horse show, and for your convenience, our in-house tack store is open daily.
On its 28-acre site, Saddle Ridge offers three outdoor riding rings, newly conditioned rubber matted stalls for your horse’s comfort and a newly decorated lounge for your comfort. Whether your interest is trail-riding, showing, or just getting involved in one of our lesson programs, we have something equine for you!

Summer Camp Riding Program
A professionally trained equestrian staff will guide your child through
a perfect blend of activities and learning experiences that offer them
life long memories and a foundation for expert horsemanship.
Camp activities will include:
- Horseback Riding - Expert-riding instructors will escort your child through a daily riding session in the morning and an hour-long trail ride after lunch
- Barn Management – Believing that the care and responsibility of horses are of the utmost importance, your child will learn healthcare and grooming techniques, as well as feeding and dietary needs and basic maintenance procedures.
- Arts and Crafts – Your child will be given materials and supplies to handcraft their own souvenir as a remembrance of their experience.
- Riding Lessons – Trained instructors will walk your child through horseback riding lessons each and every day.
- Carnival Friday’s – A fun-filled day of laughs, fun foods and activities will wrap up your child’s week. Bouncers, pizza, soda, cotton candy and popcorn will add to the festivities.
- Movies – G-rated movies, with an equestrian theme, will be shown on rainy days.
