Who We Are...

We are a county-operated shelter providing animal control to 51 communities in Bergen County. We accept owned animals for a fee from our contracted communities. If space permits, we will accept owned animals from other Bergen County towns (see Animal Control Policies page). We also accept stray domestic animals from any of these towns, and we respond to calls for sick or injured wildlife to any of our contracted towns (see Animal Control Policies page).
