GUARDIANSHIP MONITORING In 1999, Surrogate Dressler began a Guardianship Monitoring Program, wherein volunteers were recruited in association with the AARP to make sure that court appointed guardians were performing their duties. Volunteers are needed to visit homes, research cases, or audit accounts of incapacitated persons on behalf of the court.
