This
project
was
intended
to
replace
old
playground
equipment
in
Pulis
Field
that
was
originally
installed
in
1964.
The
playground
had
since
deteriorated
and
posed
a
serious
safety
risk
to
children
playing
on
the
structures.
The
recreation
area
at
Pulis
Field
is
the
Borough’s
busiest
recreation
area
with
hundreds
of
children
using
the
facilities
each
year.
A
new
play
structure
and
safety
surface
was
installed
that
meets
Child
Safety
Standards
and
ADA
requirements.
The
project
was
completed
in
2001
and
the
Borough
provided
matching
funds
to
complete
the
total
cost
of
this
project.
