The
Shelter is trying to assist residents of towns
that contract with the shelter that need assistance
with altering wild cats for re-release outside.
Please call the shelter for information and charges.
The
shelter does not provide spay/neuter services
for owned animals. For information on low cost
spay/nneuter of owned animals, we suggest you
contact People for Animals in Hillside at www.pfaonline.org.
Unless
you are neutering an outdoor stray, most veterinarians
require that your pet be inoculated for both rabies
and distemper at least two weeks prior to their
appointment. Rabies shots are available at our
free clinics. Please check our calendar
for the date of the next clinic. Rabies clinics
are open to residents of Bergen County or cats
and dogs adopted from our shelter. There is no
charge. |
